The Timberland line of recreational cabins was developed as a result of 35 years experience in designing and building recreational home and cabin packages. 

We are proud of all our designs.  Some were designed for the lakeshore in summer, others for higher elevations and the snow loads experienced there.  Some are ‘up-North hardy’, exceptionally well insulated for energy savings and some are basic ‘starter’ kits that can be expanded later.

Our cabin collection has been divided into different size buildings to make it easier for you to find something suitable for your needs. The total usable square footage including space on the main and upper floor (if applicable) is shown for your convenience.

We have also found that a number of customers want to build somewhere to store a boat or vehicle with some living accommodation above. These lofts with garage can be used as a guest facility or while constructing a bigger cabin or cottage

 Explorer Series
These are cabins with between 500 and 1000 sq.ft. on the main and upper floor combined.

Retreat Series
These are cabins with between 1000 and 1600 sq.ft. on the main and upper floor combined.

Craftsman Series
TimberLand Cabins has teamed up with Robinson Residential Design Inc. to give you the widest possible selection of delightful craftsman style cottages. The cottages you see here were planned with open interior spaces, abundant natural lighting, sleeping lofts, screen porches and timeless craftsman style detailing. A variety of innovative designs and sizes have been prepared to suit any lifestyle.

Loft with Garage
  These are buildings with living accommodation above and storage / garage below.

 

We offer cabins of all different sizes. Our smallest has a footprint of only 16' x 20' but this gives you 320 sq.ft. on the main floor with a 148 sq. ft. loft. Larger cabins contain up to 1600 sq. ft. of living space. We specialize in vaulted designs which give you the bonus of upstairs loft space at an economical price. Not only does the inside of your cabin look and feel better, it is very practical as well.

Timberland uses the proprietary leading edge Opti-Bild design optimization system in combination with the materials selection process.  The result is that we can bring you cabin designs that look good, are easy to put up, have outstanding floor plans and offer great value.
